Shop assistant Kai, Junior Manager André Zölzer, Senior Manager Heinz Zölzer and shop assistant Torsten were so kind to host a rolling clinic, organized by Marek Pohla and Indrek Aas from Tahe Marine, and a talk about my Australian circumnavigation.

I had plenty of fun in the river Ruhr, getting a bunch of students and the Junior Manger wet and dizzy!

Thanks to Globetrotter Ausrüstungen Berlin!

Event manager Patrick Valentin, kayak/ mountaineering manager Michael von Einem and shop manager Carsten Bombis invited me to talk about my Australian trip in the Globetrotter shop Berlin.

The talk was held righ on top of the indoor test pool – the right ambiance for a kayak slide show!

The day before the talk, we did a rolling clinic/ demo, organized by Tahe Marine Kayaks, which unfortunately was stopped all too soon by a heavy long thunderstorm. Thanks anyway!

Kajakdagargna in Stockholm

Thanks to Erik Wallgren from Epic Kayaks Sweden/ Nomado Kayaks to invite me to Stockholm to the Kajakdagarna Exhibition, organized by Magnus Fischer! I had a great time teaching efficient forward strokes clinics in the morning, signing posters and cards during the day, and giving a talk about my Australian circumnavigation in the afternoon! Saturday and Sunday! Whoever was not there was missing something…

Talks about OZ and Efficient Paddling Clinics in Sweden: Malmö and Stockholm

I’ll be doing some presentations in Sweden about my epic “Race around Australia” circumnavigation:

On Tuesdy, June 7th, hosted by Point 65 Malmö, starting 17.00h with meet and greet and food/ drink. The slideshow starts around 18.30h.

On Saturday and Sunday, 12th/13th of June, at Kajakdagarna in Stockholm, starting 15.00 h each, hosted by Epic Kayaks Sweden.

At Kajakdargarna, I’ll be doing as well a paddle clinic Saturday and Sunday morning, 8.00 -10.00 h.

Subject will be easy and efficient touring without injuries. You can try the epic 18x sport and epic wing paddles I paddeld around Australia!

There will be an entertaining gameshow in the German TV SWR,

where 4 prominent candidates (Inspektor Smudo, Ursula Cantieni, Mike Krüger, Enie van de Meiklokjes)

have to find out the right person out of three,

having done some great or interesting things…

it will be quite a tough quiz on that night! )

Bürgervorsteherin Birgitt Encke and Bürgermeister Rainer Maaß invited me to sign the “Golden Book” of Husum. It was a great honor for me!

Frau Encke was holding a lovely laudatio. Thank you!

THEY DID IT! Thanks very much for the beautiful handcrafted “City of Husum” bowl, filled with delicious fresh fruit!

My baby and me have seen some of the world already!
