Thanks to John Durrua (right) and his store manager Al for hosting my talk at Jersey Paddler, one of the biggest kayak stores on the East Coast. Really a BIG place!

They do run the big annual Jersey Paddler’s Paddling show in spring, where John  has invited me to speak in 2011. See you then!

Thanks to Brian Blankinship, owner of Bay Kayakingand a member of the steering committee of the Chesapeake Paddlers Association, to organize my Annapolis talk, and to Bruce Kellmann, store manager of Eastern Mountain Sports, for hosting and sponsoring the event! Both of you did a great job!

Thanks to Chuck Haberlein and his lovely wife Ellen to help organizing and to eventually visit my talk! Chuck H. was one of the most frequent blog commentors and supporters on my OZ trip. Good to finally meet you in person, Chuck!

Bill Jackson’s is one of the greatest Outdoor Stores I’ve ever seen, with own pool, shooting range and ”Ski Mountain” (a downhill rolling carpet…). The collection of nice toys was so HUGE I couldn’t help but shopping a bit…thanks to Darry giving me a nice discount!
