Sorry it took so long to upload something this time, but my own camera wasn’t working well, and I was hoping to get sent some pics from other people. Thanks to Dorthe to allow me to upload some of hers.
A big thanks goes to Peter Unold, probably not only Danmarks most versatile paddler, initiating the talk! Unfortunately he wasn’t able to attend himself. But he was able to delegate the presenting job to Ravn Hamberg, experienced long distance sea kayaker as well, who was so nice to introduce me.
The Holy Stage
Nigel Dennis, Sea Kayaking UK, introduced my talk about my circumnavigation of Australia with: “…not bad for a girlie…”
I got hooked myself on my first international symposium in Anglesey 2004 by listening to Shawna and Leon‘s talk here on this stage about their circumnavigation of Iceland.
I was back in 2007, and was fascinated again, listening to Rotem Ron’s slideshow being the first person to solo circumnavgate Iceland.
